Legal Asean was founded and is led by Mark D'Alelio.
Mark D’Alelio has over 22+ years of experience in ASEAN and specializes in general corporate and commercial practices, which includes advising on acquisitions and dispositions, commercial contracts, joint ventures, labor law and local regional compliance requirements, real estate guidance for developers and hospitality providers along with his experience in the energy, power, and project financing sectors. Mark has extensive experience handling cross-border transactions in the ASEAN region, including advising and representing major companies and business groups from Singapore, China, and Thailand with foreign direct investment into Myanmar. Mark is a recognized lawyer for his works in Thailand, Myanmar, and Vietnam.
Mark is a member of the Bar in New York and Massachusetts, U.S.A.
Marine Descroix is a French qualified lawyer focusing on corporate and commercial law. Her areas of expertise include advising on merger and acquisitions transactions; foreign direct investment; complex international structures, negotiations of commercial contracts, and real estate and hotel construction and management projects.
Before joining Legal ASEAN, she has been practicing law in Luxembourg for seven (7) years in the M&A department of one of the largest U.S. law firms. After having obtained her master’s degree in International and European business law at the Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University (France), she registered as a lawyer with the Paris Bar in 2015.
Pavichaya Soothipan is a Thai qualified lawyer and notarial services attorney, having three (3) plus years of experience with both local and regional law firms. Pavichaya’s expertise covers general corporate and commercial laws. She also experienced in the practice area of M&A and litigation, specifically in bankruptcy, insolvency and rehabilitation cases.
Pavichaya received her LL.B. from Thammasat University. She then pursued her Master Degrees in the UK. She obtained her first LL.M. major in International Trade and Commercial Law with merit at Durham University and the second LL.M. major in International Financial Law with merit at King’s College London. She is an ordinary member of Thai Bar Association under the Royal Patronage.
Teerapun Jiamton is a Thai qualified lawyer and graduated from Thammasat University with LL.B. He has an extensive experience on wide range of litigation with seven (7) plus years of experience in private practice, secondments, and inhouse roles.
Teerapun’s expertise focus on corporate and commercial, labor, insurance, real estate, and criminal offenses.
Sasathorn Dharakasem (Sasa) graduated from Thammasat University with an LL.B. She was a legal officer associate with a large accountant/audit firm before making the bold decision to embrace the challenge of following a completely different career path as a cabin crew in the airline industry.
Sasa previously specialized on Foreign Director Investment, immigration, and general corporate matters. She joins Legal ASEAN as an associate, to help the firm on corporate, commercial and immigration matters.
Nuengruethai Thongprathuang (Nook) completed her LL.B. from Assumption University in Thailand majoring in Business Law. At Legal ASEAN, Nook is multi-skilled and provides support to our legal team by bringing a wide array of experience from the corporate arena.
Nook uses her knowledge and experience from the non-life insurance sector focusing on corporate law to support Legal ASEAN clients
Tanaporn Raksat (Nan) received a bachelor's degree in marketing from Assumption University's Faculty of Business Administration. Nan has three years of experience in the hospitality sector, learning how to be multi-faceted and a skilled administrative coordinator.
She enjoys assuming new responsibilities and developing good relationships with both clients and employees.
